An exceptionally finally painted landscape water colour of Constantinople on Watman paper, tuner esq. Attributed to William Page.

Measurements: Picture size 10½ inches/27cm by 7¼In/18cm; overall size with frame 19½In/50cm by 16In/40½cm approx.

Period: Circa 1820

Inscribed Chinese Portrait Miniature of James Trubshaw

Chinese portrait miniature of James Trubshaw, mounted in its original Chinese carved ebony frame, inscribed on reverse both on paper and on timber backing. Insicription reads:

"James Trbushaw son of Mrs Teaque in his nautical dress as supercargo roughing it in the china seas. Painted abroad."

Measurements: H 9 inches/23cm, W 8¼In/21cm approx.

Period: Circa 1857
